Mount Sumbing and Mount Sundoro Twin Volcanoes Trekking in Jawa Island

Mount Sumbing or Gunung Sumbing is an active stratovolcano in Central Java, Indonesia, symmetrical with Sundoro. The only report of historical eruptions is from 1730. It has created a small phreatic crater at the summit.

Mount Sindara, Mount Sindoro or Mount Sundoro is an active stratovolcano in Central Java, Indonesia. Parasitic craters and cones are found in the northwest-southern flanks; the largest is called Kembang. A small lava dome occupies the volcano’s summit. Historical eruptions mostly mild-to-moderate phreatic eruptions had occurred.

Itinerary

Day 1: Jogja Arrival – Kali Adem for Merapi View – Hotel
Pick up and meeting service at Jogjakarta airport. Proceed to Kali Adem village Area for Merapi Volcano view. Lunch at local restaurant – check in hotel in Dekta Guesthouse in jogja . Free and easy program. (L)

Day 2: Sumbing Mountain (base camp)
After breakfast, proceed to Sumbing mountain for this trekking. Lunch at the base camp. Quick briefing and preparing before trekking. rest at base camp and dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Sumbing Trekking, 3136 dpl
At mid night after briefing, start trekking the Mount Sumbing Summit. Ascent the top of sumbing in the morning, enjoy the sunrise while having breakfast. Descend to the base camp and take a rest in the base camp before transfer to Jogjakarta. Check in at Delta Guesthouse in Jogja. Lunch at local restaurant. Free and easy Program (B, L)

Day 4: Sindoro Mountain (base camp)
After breakfast and Check out at Delta Guesthouse, proceed to Mount Sindoro for trekking. Lunch at the base camp. Briefing and prepare all thing before trekking. some rest at base camp and dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Sindoro Trekking, 3371 dpl – Borobudur Temple
At Mid night after briefing, start trekking the mountain. Reaching the Summit of sindoro in the morning, enjoy the sunrise while having breakfast. descend the mountain and take a rest in the base camp before direct to jogja. Lunch at local restaurant. Stop over at Borobudur Temple and check in at Prambanan Guesthouse in Jogjakarta. Free and easy Program (B, L)

Day 6: Transfer Out
After breakfast and check-out hotel, we transfer you to Jogjakarta airport for your next flight. (B)
